A funk instrumental album that is a bonafide funk instrumental album, and a first for James Brown after having already released six instrumental albums that focused more on the jazzy side of funkiness most of them lackluster. The Popcorn is a dance album (for its time), so feel free to do The Chicken, or Watusi, or whatever the hell.
